So I'm back in Grand Rapids, MI right now spending some time with my wife, gearing up to play Buddy Holly in the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre's Production of "Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story".
I am so thrilled at this opportunity, but also a little terrified at the prospect of failing. This is the first time I've had to play guitar this substantially since I broke my fingers. At this point, I've spent a lot of time with the material, and I know I can play the songs, but I'm nervous I'm going to be in pain for the whole contract.
Maybe this is the best occupational therapy I could have asked for!
We start rehearsals in 9 days, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I'm excited to get started and cannot wait to get this show going!
